Product Description: Price
The osteogenesis assay kit is based on the alkaline phosphatase (ALP)-mediated conversion of p-nitrophenol phosphate to nitrophenol in an alkaline buffer. Nitrophenol exhibits an absorption maximum at 405-415 nm. The assay can also be used to examine cell differentiation such as osteogenesis, which is associated with increased expression of ALP. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles of the assay solution should be avoided. The enzyme assay system can be completed in as short as 10 minutes. The method is adaptable to automation.
